Not The End, But a Transformation.
Designer Boris Bidjan Saberi has closed down his eponymous brand after 20 years of operation, citing production difficulties.
The news was announced via an internal document sent to retail partners, saying the company will shit down in July. “The reality is clear: under current conditions and without relocating production, it is impossible for us to maintain operations with the standards of quality, integrity, and consistency that have always been the foundation of our project,” Saberi said in the statement.
He urged unsuspecting fans that this will not be the end of his road, rather a transformation of his creative direction, saying “Boris Bidjan Saberi has not left. This closure is not the end of the road, but a transformation.” The remaining stock will be available through in-person service at their store in Barcelona, representing the final chapter of a 20 year journey.
