The future forward label by Mats Rombaut selling 100% vegan products has launched the shoes of the summer.
Rombaut is a Paris-based brand committed to using plant-based materials and recycled fibres. They are introducing two new styles extending their product from the Nucleo and Alien Barefoot signature styles, Rombaut is taking martial arts as the inspiration behind the fresh sneakers. Titled ‘Flow’ and ‘Mortal’, both sneakers represent physical connectivity to the planet and the philosophies of product design, a key principle in the brand’s DNA.
Drawn from the Mortal Kombat video game, Rombaut visualises emotion, queerness and violence to create the campaign imagery for the two new sneakers.
The storytelling behind the campaign is one to dive deeper into and if you enjoy shopping sustainable, this brand is for you. Available in a lower flatter style in both pink, green and black colourways, the Flow sneaker offers a “barefoot feel” whilst the Mortal style is created with Bloom Foam and has a thicker platform curve.
These laced-up colourful shoes are perfect for this summer and, coming off the back of a new Puma collaboration, are bound to be hot to get your hands on!
