Community as a Form of Research.
Stone Island is still slow rolling their Spring/Summer 2025 collection through their Community as a Form of Research series, where influential figures with a connection to the brand model their next drop. This segment features Giggs and John Glacier, both in Stone Island’s UV Reactive series.
Giggs is seen in the UV-Reactive knit, an oversized mock neck engineered to change pigment when exposed to sunlight. It features a handmade and tactical feel, with a loose gauge and a light salmon hue. Glacier is in a jacket featuring the same UV material, this time over a ripstop scan camo. The jacket was created after a thorough scan of their archive, featuring motifs used in other garments. Cascaded with a camo pattern, it can be seen better in the sun, once the technology kicks in.
