Reimagining Modern Matter's Archives.
UNDERCOVER announces an innovative collaboration with Modern Matter founder Olu Odukoya and designer Jun Takahashi. The project sees Odukoya and Takahashi in creative conversation, revisiting a decade of Modern Matter’s misprinted archives. Building on Modern Matter’s history of collaborations with fashion giants such as Margiela, Helmut Lang, and Alaïa, the partnership sees both brands collaborate through collages where Takahashi reimagines past imperfections, transforming them into impactful new pieces that merge art, design, and fashion.
The collaboration is accompanied by a special zine, Modern Matter Q&A Chronicles, exploring the project’s stories and creative journey. This zine is bundled with an exclusive Modern Matter x UNDERCOVER / Q&A of Jun Takahashi T-shirt, a wearable expression of their collaborative spirit of reinvention.
The magazine and T-shirt set will be available exclusively at UNDERCOVER official online store and in UNDERCOVER stores throughout Japan and at DSM London from the 15th to the 18th.
