Blending Western Grit with Haute Couture.
Beyoncé is once again setting new trends in concert fashion on her “Cowboy Carter” World Tour, dazzling fans in a custom Schiaparelli haute couture outfit, created by the fashion house’s visionary creative director, Daniel Roseberry.
The look, showcased at Beyoncé’s recent East Coast performance, included a nude mesh corset with draped satin and black technical velvet bootcut trousers, given a distinct Western twist by Schiaparelli’s cowboy bijoux buckles. A dramatic black “monkey fur” stole (made of glycerin-bathed ostrich feathers) added theatrical flair, while a black cowboy hat, likely a custom Stetson, grounded the high-fashion look in the Cowboy Carter aesthetic.
This collaboration marks another chapter in Beyoncé’s strong relationship with Schiaparelli. Creative director Daniel Roseberry has dressed the icon on numerous occasions, including for the cover of British Vogue, her “Renaissance” World Tour, and consecutive Grammy Awards appearances. Her choice of Schiaparelli for the “Cowboy Carter” tour underscores her continous reputation as a fashion trailblazer.
