Chapter 2, L'Avventura.
Ferragamo’s legacy is deeply rooted in Hollywood—the city where Salvatore Ferragamo earned his reputation as the “shoemaker to the stars,” crafting shoes for legends like Joan Crawford and Judy Garland, and outfitting films from Cecil B. DeMille’s Westerns to Marilyn Monroe’s iconic roles.
For Pre-Fall 2025, the brand revisits this cinematic heritage through the eyes of acclaimed Italian filmmaker Alice Rohrwacher. The story unfolds in a three-part film series shot at the legendary Cinecittà studios in Rome, with each chapter set to debut throughout the season.
As high summer comes into focus, so too do the stars of the season. For Chapter 2, expect spherical cork-heeled sandals with raffia trim; handcrafted woven Gancini totes; slip-on menswear mules and more. Starring natural materials which pay tribute to the innovation Salvatore Ferragamo pioneered, this chapter zooms out to reveal a filmmaking technique that uses scraps of fabric to present the illusion of rolling waves.
