As anticipation builds for his Dior debut on 27th June, Jonathan Anderson has offered an intimate preview of the inspirations shaping his vision. Sharing images from his personal moodboard, Anderson cites Jean-Michel Basquiat and Lee Radziwill as muses, figures he calls “the epitome of style.”
His arrival at Dior follows months of speculation, confirmed just days after Maria Grazia Chiuri’s latest womenswear show in Rome and half a year since the exit of Dior’s menswear lead. Anderson’s appointment marks a pivotal shift for the storied maison, signalling a more experimental, avant-garde direction rooted in his boundary-pushing aesthetic.
