Chanel heads to the Big Apple once more.
Chanel has announced that its next Métiers d’Art collection will be unveiled in New York City on the 2nd December 2025. This marks the house’s return to the city for the first time since 2018, when Karl Lagerfeld staged a grand show at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The Métiers d’Art collection, introduced in 2002, is a tribute to the artisans behind Chanel’s most intricate creations. From embroidery to feather work, it celebrates the quiet hands that shape the house’s legacy.
This year’s show will be Matthieu Blazy’s first for Chanel. Though the exact location remains undisclosed, the decision to return to New York continues a story that began in the 1930s, when Gabrielle Chanel first crossed the Atlantic. Nearly a century later, the connection endures, for a meeting of craft, culture and timeless style.
