Dsquared2 proudly unveils the Rider sneaker, a fresh and essential take on casual footwear that effortlessly blends vintage athletic charm with contemporary street style. This new iteration redefines laid-back cool, offering a versatile canvas for personal expression.
The Rider’s design pays homage to the brand’s heritage, drawing inspiration from the classic 551 Legendary sneaker, particularly evident in its distinctive wave detailing on the upper. This nostalgic nod is expertly paired with a modern TR* sole and unique furry laces, creating a silhouette that is both understated and powerfully expressive. Reflecting Dsquared2’s deep-rooted sense of identity, the designers’ names are subtly printed on the back of the heel, while “1964” is boldly scrawled in signature gold lettering on both sides, adding a personal touch.
Available in luxurious leather and soft suede, the Rider sneaker offers an expansive colour palette, from classic collegiate to daring street-ready designs. Variations include a playful all-black edition with faux-fur lining, a women’s style combining leopard print with patent leather, slick metallic details, and a graffiti-covered version for an urban edge.
Further expanding its versatility, the Rider also arrives in a high-top version, where retro sport aesthetics meet a contemporary street-style attitude, offering an elevated look for the modern wardrobe.
