Inspired by the energy and culture of Tokyo, ASICS’ has launched a new collection blending the city’s rich heritage with modern design. The line features ASICS’ latest running shoe technology in two new models, the MEGABLAST™ and SONICBLAST™, alongside refreshed classic styles.
The collection reflects the brand’s core philosophy, Anima Sana In Corpore Sano (“A Sound Mind In a Sound Body”), with each product designed to support runners in feeling and performing their best—whether through enhanced bounce, reliable stability, or all-day comfort. The goal is to encourage people to move and stay active for both physical and mental well-being.
Inspired by the fusion of old and new Tokyo, the collection’s colour palette combines traditional and contemporary elements. Shades of purple, reminiscent of the wisteria flower, represent grace and hospitality. In contrast, bold accents of sunrise red symbolise the city’s fast-paced energy and dynamic lifestyle.
The design also pays tribute to the National Stadium, the host venue for the upcoming World Athletics Championships Tokyo 2025, celebrating future achievements on the world stage.
