Luxury designer Christian Louboutin has expanded his hospitality venture, Vermelho Melides, by opening two new private villas in Portugal’s beautiful Alentejo countryside. The villas, named La Salvada and La Maison des Bateaux, are located just ten minutes from the original 13-room hotel and were inspired by its eclectic and maximalist spirit.
This unique expansion showcases Louboutin’s personal touch, with both properties’ interiors reflecting his distinctive style. La Salvada, a two-bedroom villa, stands out with its rose-hued, Moroccan-inspired design, a departure from traditional Portuguese architecture.
The villas are a unique fusion of Christian Louboutin’s international design perspective and local Portuguese flair, with each villa decorated with local art and pieces from Louboutin’s own collection, emulating the surrounding natural beauty.
