Clarks rings in 200 Years with a reimagined Wallabee.
Clarks’ bicentennial celebrations continue to gather momentum, with the release of its documentary “From Somerset to the World” earlier this year now joined by a landmark creative partnership. Designer Nicholas Daley, renowned for weaving cultural narratives into his work, has unveiled a striking reinterpretation of the classic Wallabee, cementing his collaboration with the heritage shoemaker.
Daley’s design, years in the making, channels both his Central Saint Martins training and his Jamaican-Scottish heritage. The result is a Wallabee that pays homage to British craftsmanship while pushing the boundaries of modern style.
The Clarks Originals x Nicholas Daley Wallabee introduces a bold patchwork of blue and red tartan, crafted from a rich mix of smooth suede, waxed leather, and hairy suede. As Clarks steps into its third century, this collaboration underscores the brand’s enduring influence, rooted in tradition, but constantly reinvented for the global stage.
