And The Nominees Are…
The British Fashion Council have just announced the nominees for The Fashion Awards 2025, set to take place on Monday 1st December at the Royal Albert Hall, London. Categories revealed include Designer of the Year, British Womenswear Designer, British Menswear Designer and The Vanguard Award — with winners announced live on the night.
Presented by Pandora, The Fashion Awards unites the global fashion community in London, the home of fashion and creativity, to celebrate excellence, amplify leaders of change and support the next generation of creative talent. The event also serves as the principal fundraiser for the British Fashion Council Foundation, which drives the future growth of British fashion through education, grant-giving and business mentoring.
For its 2025 edition, the BFC convened a jury of 19 distinguished critics, editors and buyers to finalise the shortlist of nominees, ensuring each candidate reflects the highest standards of quality, creativity and diversity. Members of the voting panel include Adam Baidawi, Ahmad Swaid, Bosse Myhr, Elizabeth Paton, Jeanie Annan-Lewin, Laura Ingham and Sarah Mower.
The shortlist will now move to a Voting Committee of leading industry figures, who will review and cast their votes confidentially to balance perspectives and ensure impartiality.
