Jaden Smith not only wants to talk about the political and economic state of the world; now he also wants to talk about fashion. In a new move for the luxury French fashion house, the American rapper and actor has been named Christian Louboutin’s first-ever Men’s Creative Director. This marks the first time someone other than the founder has held a public-facing creative role for the brand’s menswear line.
Smith, who is set to move to Paris, will unveil his first collection for the brand in January. His debut will be an “avant-premiere” drop available in select boutiques and online, with the full seasonal collection expected for Fall/Winter 2026.
Christian Louboutin told WWD, “I see in him a person of passion, someone who is open to creating and who wants to create, not to make a profit. That is something I have been missing. So, the question is, what can we do together that is both creative and interesting for our world?”
