Spotlighting Saudi.
Launching on the 14th September at Venice Fashion Week, “Threads of Identity” is a new exhibition curated by the Saudi House of Fashion at the Abbazia di San Gregorio. Organized by the Fashion Commission under Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Culture, the show celebrates contemporary Saudi fashion that bridges heritage, craftsmanship, and innovation. Featuring select designers from the Saudi 100 Brands program, the exhibition explores evolving narratives of identity, belonging, and creative expression across womenswear, menswear, and accessories.
The launch also includes a pop-up by KAF by KAF, spotlighting “Lightbound”, a limited-edition capsule created with adidas that reimagines moonlight and tradition through a futuristic lens. Garments and textiles blend traditional techniques like embroidery and weaving with modern silhouettes and materials, all displayed in an intimate gallery setting where soft lighting and neutral tones allow each piece to speak for itself.
The exhibition offers a rare glimpse into the diversity and vision of Saudi Arabia’s emerging fashion talents.
