Distinguished British designer Bianca Saunders and the TATE have revealed a unique collaboration, launching a limited-edition AW25 capsule collection based on the imaginative works of the English painter and poet, William Blake.

Marking the inception of a new series of fashion-led initiatives at the Tate. One of fashion’s most innovative voices, Saunders, who is popular for her forward-thinking perspective on modern menswear, offers a reinterpretation of Blake’s The Good and Evil Angels and The Simoniac Pope through her signature gender-fluid lens. The four-piece collection consists of the Judging Adam Jumper, Fire Top Long Sleeve, Judging Adam Hat and scarf.

A genderless collection creating a bridge between fine art and contemporary fashion by connecting Blake’s iconic symbolism with Bianca Saunders’ future-facing approach to design, the capsule underscores Saunders’ commitment to inclusivity and fluidity in design, whilst also showcasing her rising prominence as one of the UK’s most celebrated designers. Renowned for her practice of weaving together her British-Jamaican heritage into her work, regarding this collaboration, Saunders expressed, “It is inspiring to engage with imagery created by William Blake and to address his meaningful symbolism to my design practice. This capsule of garments highlights both the artistic piece and its place in day-to-day life, creating pieces that are hopefully considered and reflect that thinking while still allowing for wear and life.”

Rosey Blackmore, Director of Licensing and Merchandise at Tate, added, “Bianca’s work embodies the kind of bold, multidisciplinary thinking that we champion at Tate. This collection brings Blake’s legacy into the present through wearable, thoughtful design.”

The collection will be available on October 23, 2025, and will be on offer later this autumn through Tate’s retail channels.
