PAUSE Eats: Levantin — Copenhagen

Copenhagen’s hidden gem.

Perched along Værnedamsvej, Copenhagen’s charming stretch, affectionately known as “Little Paris”, Levantin has swiftly established itself as one of the city’s most intriguing newcomers. Since opening in late 2024, the bistro has brought the warmth and vibrancy of Levantine hospitality into a contemporary European frame, where the generosity of shared dishes meets the refinement of modern-day dining.

The design, by studio ‘All That Matters’, sets the stage. Walls are adorned in soft rose plaster, sheer drapes with steel and glass details. Touches of vintage wood strike a careful balance between elegance and ease, leaving the effect both intimate and cosmopolitan, a setting that invites you to linger.

In the kitchen, Levantin’s story unfolds with dishes that are rooted in Levantine tradition yet expressed with a modern boldness. Plates are meant for sharing, encouraging conversation and connection, while flavours move confidently between heritage and innovation. When it comes to drinks, there are spice-laced cocktails and a thoughtful mix of Levantine and European wines to round out the experience.

At Levantin, every detail feels considered, and every moment feels celebratory.
