Season Two.
Samuel Ross unveils the second season of SR_A engineered by ZARA – a collaboration between the British designer and artist and the Spanish fashion giant – this time composed of sixteen complete looks.
After the first edition established a new design vocabulary, this chapter refines its language, building on its foundations. Ross and ZARA deepen their dialogue between atelier precision and democratic accessibility, translating the codes of industrial design into garments conceived as much for the wilderness as for the city.
The pieces are built for movement, strength, and grace – for instance, an oversized parka crafted from a technical wool–cotton fabric with a high neck and adjustable hood; Chelsea-style boots featuring a leather upper with a sheepskin finish; and a cotton-denim coat lined in contrasting faux shearling.
Known for founding A-Cold-Wall, which he sold last year, Ross launched SR_A in 2019 – an ongoing exploration into the artisan-driven, industrial beautification of garments, objects, and spaces. “Clothes need to make people feel good and powerful, and be functional. Let’s start at the root of that,” said Samuel Ross of this second edition.
