The British Fashion Council honours Anok Yai for her global influence and creative impact.
In an exciting announcement, The British Fashion Council has revealed that Anok Yai will receive the “Model of the Year” award at The Fashion Awards 2025 presented by Pandora, taking place on Monday 1st December at London’s Royal Albert Hall. The ceremony, which raises vital funds for the BFC Foundation, celebrates the cultural power of fashion and the visionaries redefining the industry.
Born in Egypt to South Sudanese parents and raised in America, Anok has become one of the defining faces of modern fashion. Over the past year, she has fronted campaigns for Versace, Alaïa and Saint Laurent, starred on the cover of Vogue France, and continued her role as the face of Mugler’s Alien fragrance. Beyond modelling, she has also stepped into the realms of creative direction. As her artistry, representation and vision continues to inspire, there’s no better person to deserve this than her.
