Pleats, Pockets, and iPhones.
We might have the hardest phone accessory yet… It’s the iPhone Pocket, the unexpectedly stylish love-child of a design collaboration between Apple and ISSEY MIYAKE.
Inspired by ISSEY MIYAKE’s famous “piece of cloth” concept, this ingenious accessory features a singular, 3D-knitted construction that stretches to securely fit any iPhone. With a ribbed, open structure that echoes the brand’s iconic pleats, it’s essentially an extra pocket you can wear in various ways: handheld, tied to a bag, or even directly on your body. Design Director Yoshiyuki Miyamae calls it “the joy of wearing iPhone in your own way,” and frankly, we’re already clearing out our current pockets.
This unique phone holder comes in a playful colour palette, perfect for mixing and matching with your favorite device. The short strap is available in eight vibrant colors like lemon and peacock, and the longer strap comes in three colors like sapphire and cinnamon. The iPhone Pocket will be available starting Friday, November 14, at select Apple Stores and on Apple’s website in several countries.
