The french Maison presents Louis Vuitton Visionary Journeys Seoul, an innovative space within LV The Place Seoul that brings together a store, a cultural journey, and gastronomic experiences. The project celebrates the Louis Vuitton’s creativity and the unique blend of heritage and innovation that defines Seoul, a city that has inspired the House since 1984.
Spread across six levels, the space weaves together fashion, art, culture, and cuisine. And more than 200 pieces highlight the evolution of travel within the Louis Vuitton universe.
The cultural escapade spans several floors, offering an immersive narrative created in collaboration with Shohei Shigematsu-OMA. The themed rooms explore the Maison’s origins, craftsmanship, iconic materials, design evolution, and the relationship between fashion and travel. These spaces reveal everything from the earliest trunks to contemporary creations, alongside artistic collaborations, connections with Korea, and areas dedicated to music, lifestyle, and personalisation.
On the fourth and sixth floors, the experience continues with Le Café Louis Vuitton and the restaurant JP at Louis Vuitton. The café, under the direction of award-winning pastry chef Maxime Frédéric, presents French classics with a Korean twist, while the restaurant, led by chef Junghyun Park, offers a tasting menu that blends contemporary techniques with traditional Korean ingredients, resulting in a refined culinary experience.
The journey concludes with the store, whose design draws inspiration from the traditional Saekdong palette. It showcases exclusive collections of leather goods, fashion, jewellery, beauty, and home objects available only in this location.
