Inside One of Paris’s Most Iconic Addresses!

Paris has long held a prominent place as one of the world’s most visited cities and a favourite among travellers. Renowned for its iconic landmarks, historic architecture and creative culture, it’s the city consistently placed at the top of “to-go” lists, a magical destination with a vibrant ambience that’s truly unmatched.

Every arrondissement carries its own distinctive charm, and in the 1st Arrondissement, just steps away from the famous Place Vendôme — one of Paris’s most iconic, prestigious and affluent neighbourhoods — the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme claims its place. The hotel stands as one of Hyatt’s most celebrated properties internationally, embodying the brand’s reputation for quiet sophistication intertwined with Parisian heritage.

Hyatt, known for its diverse portfolio and its reputation as one of the world’s most trusted hospitality groups, has cultivated the Park Hyatt collection as its pinnacle: hotels defined by understated luxury, artful design and refined experiences. Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme, opened in 2002, quickly emerged as one of the leading hotels within both Hyatt’s portfolio and the Parisian hospitality scene, and a magnet for sophisticated travellers who appreciate a retreat in the heart of the city.

Rooms & Suites:

The Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme experience starts only once you step inside. Its entrance is understated and deliberately discreet — easy to pass without realising the world that unfolds beyond it. From the outside, there is no hint of the hotel’s scale or offerings; you can’t peer in or gauge what awaits within, but as soon as you step inside, the atmosphere shifts. The hotel’s ambience draws you into a space that feels intimate, exclusive and meticulously designed. There’s no grand lobby or reception; instead, a spacious, cosy lounge with a fireplace, ideal for relaxing, taking meetings or working.

Much of the hotel’s visual identity is owed to the late American architect Ed Tuttle, renowned for his work across some of the world’s leading luxury hotels. For Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme, he reimagined and unified five 19th-century Haussmann buildings, preserving their original façades and crafting interiors that balance modern elegance with Parisian heritage. The result is a décor that feels architectural, distinctive, subtly modern, yet unmistakably grand.

Tuttle’s vision is evident throughout the hotel, from the Park King rooms to the expansive 2,368 sq ft Vendôme Suite and the newly renovated Apartment, with each space carrying an ambience that feels moody, warm and inviting, shaped by his distinctive approach to quiet, understated luxury. Expect layered, dimmed sculptural lighting; oak panelling; and limestone and gold finishes — elements meticulously combined to create a sense of luxury that whispers rather than shouts.

Room features include:

  • Floor-to-ceiling windows
  • Balconies in selected rooms that look out over Place Vendôme
  • A minibar and Nespresso coffee station
  • Thoughtful, space-maximising storage
  • Blackout Blind system
