Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance have teamed up once again, this time venturing into the Oslo Fjord to launch a maritime-inspired collection centered on the Made in UK 991. The footwear headliners include the “Celery” colorway, which blends grey mesh with red leather and olive/brown suede, and the “Chocolate” version, featuring a white leather base with deep brown overlays.
Drawing from the high-contrast aesthetic of 90s marine culture, these sneakers bridge the gap between technical performance and the refined, “Queens cool” luxury that has made this partnership a staple in modern fashion. The release is bolstered by a utilitarian apparel capsule designed to handle actual winter conditions on the water. Expect to see heavy-duty nylon Sailing Jackets and pants alongside fleece pullovers and nautical-branded Signal Crewneck Sweaters, mostly popping in vibrant Aura Orange and sleek Jet Black.
