Stella McCartney Marks the Year of the Horse with Autumn 2026

The elements.

Honouring the fact that 2026 will be the Year of the Horse according to the Chinese zodiac, British designer Stella McCartney blends an equestrian spirit with the core elements that have shaped her brand identity – since its launch in 2001 – for the Autumn 2026 season.

In the collection, these key elements merge with details and silhouettes referencing her creative evolution as a designer, personal heritage, love of animals, bold attitude and pioneering approach. She also continues her commitment to sustainability, using 98% responsible materials and keeping the pieces entirely free from leather, feathers, fur and skins.

For the season, Stella McCartney brings her Savile Row training into tailoring with sharp shoulders, elongated waistcoats and double-breasted coats. Classic menswear outlines in tuxedo jackets, coats and trousers are hand-embroidered with sparkling lead-free crystals. In contrast, day dresses introduce movement through draping, subtle peplums, handkerchief shoulders and corded lace.

The British designer also includes knitwear, such as oversized cardigans in recycled cashmere, corduroy–denim hybrids that reference Stella’s farm upbringing in Scotland, and a series of new accessories including the Appaloosa bag, which debuts as a soft, unstructured day bag with an Americana influence borrowed from its namesake.

The Stella McCartney Autumn 2026 collection will be available in boutiques worldwide, at stellamccartney.com and through selected retailers from May 2026.
