Inspired by Nature.
For Spring/Summer 2026, Axel Arigato unveils Green Space, a collection that explores the tension between nature and design. Led by Creative Director Jens Werner, the concept looks at man-made natural environments and how modern life has transformed the way we experience green spaces.
The collection draws inspiration from the communal spirit of 19th-century public parks, once central gathering points within growing cities. Werner reimagines these spaces through a contemporary lens, referencing skate parks, concrete planters, curated flower beds and duck ponds. These environments function as constructed ecosystems, where people, animals and fragments of nature exist within clearly defined, human-made boundaries.
This idea carries through to the collection’s design language. Sculptural silhouettes, textured surfaces and references to mould-making and structure reflect the notion of nature being shaped, arranged and preserved. Green Space ultimately presents a thoughtful study of how the natural world continues to live within urban frameworks, not organically formed, but intentionally designed.
