2026 is full of surprises, already!
Hidden NY has mastered the art of mystery. What first began as a cult-loved Instagram moodboard has grown into one of the most influential streetwear entities of the last decade, with collaborations ranging from Clarks to Salomon to ASICS. And 2026 may be shaping up to be its biggest chapter yet…
The brand recently teased a new sneaker collaboration: a glossy white pair featuring Hidden NY’s signature encircled “H” on the heel. At first glance, many assumed it was a Nike Air Force 1, especially since Hidden previously dropped custom AF1s. But on closer inspection, sneaker enthusiasts noticed a different story.
The silhouette is actually a BAPE Sta, distinguishable through its rounded heel tab rather than the Air Force 1’s more concave shape. The angle of the teaser shot seems deliberately chosen to spark confusion, speculation, and hype, something perfectly on brand for Hidden NY’s cryptic storytelling.
