Celebrating freedom, community and self-expression.

Dsquared2 has teamed up with artist and photographer Tom Bianchi for a new collaboration rooted in counterculture and creative freedom. For founders Dean and Dan Caten, the project builds on their ongoing interest in communities that embrace individuality, rebellion and self-expression.

The collection is based on Bianchi’s well-known Polaroid photographs taken on Fire Island between 1975 and 1983. Shot in the Pines, the images capture intimate moments of joy, connection and celebration during a formative cultural period. Selected photographs appear across T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, hats and swimwear, designed for both men and women, within the collection.

Although the photographs document a past era, their message remains relevant today. The themes of freedom, belonging and community continue to speak to contemporary audiences, giving the collaboration lasting resonance.
