Louis Vuitton Goes Hard with its Latest Flagship Store in Beijing

Right In Sanlitun.

We always knew we could count on a fire flagship store from Louis Vuitton, just think of the giant trunk in NYC or their stores across Asia. This time, however, they went beyond expectations with a new store in Beijing, China. Architect Jun Aoki essentially dropped the mic in the Sanlitun district with a façade that feels like a liquid dream. Inspired by the organic, wavy forms of traditional Taihu stones, the building is wrapped in hand-curved glass panels that shift in colour depending on how the sun hits them.

Inside, the energy is just as insane, with four levels of pure luxury organised around a massive vertical atrium. The layout keeps everything tight and easy to navigate with escalators and staircases that are tucked perfectly so you never lose that view of the city through the glass skin. You’ve got the heavy hitters like Men’s and Women’s Ready-To-Wear, Jewellery, and those iconic leather goods spread across the floors, plus dedicated spots for Perfumes and Beauty. For the VIPs, there are private client lounges hidden away in more secluded zones, using moody lighting and luxe material shifts to keep things low-key and exclusive.

The third floor is where it gets really sophisticated with the Home collection. It’s a complete shift of vibes, featuring furniture and textiles from design legends like Patricia Urquiola and Cristian Mohaded. And of course, the ultimate flex is the fourth floor, home to Beijing’s first-ever “Le Café Louis Vuitton”. You walk through a mirrored hall into a dining space that feels like the inside of a luxury trunk, then grab a coffee on a terrace that peeks out through that wavy glass skin.

Louis Vuitton has just officially unveiled our new “it” spot in Beijing and we’re here for it. Check it out below.
