Nicolas Di Felice is set to depart Courrèges, bringing an end to his tenure at the Parisian house as speculation around his next move begins to build.
In a statement, the 42-year-old designer expressed gratitude to the Artemis group, as well as François Pinault and François-Henri Pinault, citing their trust during his time at the brand. Di Felice added that his decision to step away comes as he looks to focus on personal projects.
Courrèges has confirmed that a new artistic director will be announced next week, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the label. Meanwhile, industry chatter is already gaining momentum, with Di Felice’s name circulating as a potential successor at Alaïa, following Pieter Mulier’s recent move to Versace.
