Burberry has launched a new campaign titled The Trench: Portraits of an Icon, bringing together a star-studded cast from film, music, sport and fashion. Created to reinterpret the house’s iconic trench coat through each individual’s presence and perspective, the campaign is captured by acclaimed photographer Tim Walker and marks the brand’s 170th anniversary.
Many of the cast were also spotted front row at London Fashion Week during Burberry’s trench-heavy showcase.
Starring Agyness Deyn, Alva Claire, Bright Vachirawit, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Eberechi Eze, Erin O’Connor, Hikaru Utada, Iris Law, J. Y. Park, Jack Draper, Jonathan Bailey, Karen Elson, Kate Moss, Kendall Jenner, Kid Cudi, Kristin Scott Thomas, Little Simz, Matthew Macfadyen, Reece Clarke, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Sora Choi, Teyana Taylor, and Wu Lei, the campaign positions the trench coat as a cross-generational and cross-cultural emblem.
