Supreme Taps Juelz Santana for a Return to Its Early Era

Golden era.

Supreme is looking backward to move forward, tapping Juelz Santana for a campaign steeped in nostalgia and cultural memory.

Shot by longtime collaborator Ari Marcopoulos, the visuals see the Harlem rapper embodying the brand’s enduring Americana codes. Santana appears in a head-to-toe stars-and-stripes set, complete with matching jacket, trousers and headwear, grounded by classic Timberlands and layered jewellery, a look that mirrors the bold, unapologetic style synonymous with both the artist and Dipset’s legacy.

The collaboration feels less like a casting choice and more like a homecoming. Supreme and Santana’s relationship stretches back nearly two decades, to a formative moment for both parties. In 2006, the brand enlisted Santana alongside Jim Jones for one of its earliest photo tee releases, captured by Kenneth Capello. At the time, Dipset sat at the centre of hip-hop’s cultural pulse, while Supreme was still carving out its identity.

Now, that shared history is reframed for a new era. The campaign doesn’t just revisit the past, it reinforces Supreme’s ability to canonise it, turning legacy into a living, wearable narrative.
