Jennie Kim Becomes Ray-Ban’s Global Ambassador

Unmistakably Jennie.

Having created three sold out eye-wear collections in the past with South Korean brand Gentle Monster, Jennie Kim certainly has a lot of expertise in this field. This time, she decided to take on the role of Global Ambassador to Ray-Ban and Ray-Ban Meta in a new era for both her and the brands.

In Ray-Ban’s press statement, Jennie stated: ““To me, confidence isn’t loud; it comes from feeling comfortable with yourself and expressing who you are in a quiet way. Ray-Ban has that same energy: simple, expressive and easy to live in.”

Jennie’s past experimentation of unconventional yet trendy eye-wear is echoed on in a curated selection of Ray-Ban frames inspired by the 90s and early 2000s along with classic cat eye styles. Daddy-O, Alix, Drea and three Asian styles, that will now be accessible to the European market, make up the selection. Ray-Ban x Meta’s Blayzer Optics (Gen 2) also sees its debut merging style with technical expertise.

Jennie’s selection is now available for purchase online and in select retailers. We are hoping that we see a Jennie x Ray-Ban collection soon.
