Nike x Palace’s Campaign Is Rooted In 90s Nostalgia

London 1995.

Nike and Palace rewind it all the way back to 1995 in their latest campaign starring the Air Max 95 sneaker.

In a short film, London-born rappers Jawnino and Babydoom, alongside producer Chamber45, find their way into Greg’s 90s apartment. Chamber45 asks for the Wifi password, which ends up being mistaken for Hifi – referring to a high-quality sound system. In a soundtrack to Dreamworld by Rhythm Section, the rappers perform until a phone call is received. “2026 is calling and they’d like their trainers back.”

The new Air Max 95 sneaker will feature a spray paint gradient that pays homage to another Nike model – the Air Max 97 Silver Bullet. Complete with both Nike and Palace branding, the shoe is accentuated with icy blue details. A 25-piece apparel collection will drop alongside the sneaker. Co-ord tracksuit sets, tees, hoodies, and shorts in a matching colour palette will be included.

Jawnino will headline a tour across Liverpool, Manchester, and London to coincide with the collection. Palace x Nike’s capsule launches on the 10th of April at 11am BST in stores and online.
