With the brand already established across key Middle Eastern destinations, the move, although sooner than expected, did not come as a complete surprise, particularly with Saudi’s opening to the world and Vision 2030 well underway. The Jeddah EDITION marked the brand’s official debut in the Kingdom, opening its doors in May 2024 and setting the stage for The Red Sea EDITION, which followed in October 2025.

Positioned on the marina opposite the Jeddah Yacht Club, The Jeddah EDITION feels both exclusive and quietly connected. Guests are immediately introduced to the hotel’s art-led identity, most notably through a bespoke sculpture by French artist Vincent Leroy, suspended centre stage beneath the hotel’s 40-foot ceilings. The orange acrylic sphere acts as a striking focal point within a deliberately minimal reception space. Spheres have become a signature design element across EDITION properties. Familiar, yet distinctive, this particular piece is unique to Jeddah and designed to reflect the warmth of the city’s sun.

Inside the lobby, the EDITION identity becomes immediately recognisable. The grand space is framed by floor-to-ceiling windows, with velvet curtains in a muted beige palette that subtly echo the surrounding coastline. The space is anchored by curated artwork, low-slung seating, and EDITION’s unmistakable design cues. Plush sofas are draped with signature faux fur throws, ambient lighting is carefully considered, and the ever-present pool table acts as both a design feature and social magnet. The scent, developed exclusively with Le Labo, lingers subtly, tying the entire experience together in a way that feels instantly recognisable to those familiar with the brand. It feels unmistakably EDITION, yet recalibrated for Jeddah. Lighter, more coastal, and quietly luxurious.

The experience begins immediately, with intricate details across both design and service thoughtfully considered from the moment guests arrive. The EDITION experience is centred around discovery. While there is an element of familiarity, it is the reinterpretation of these known details within each location that makes the experience feel special. It creates a sense of desirability, confidence, and loyalty among guests who know what they want from a hotel, yet still appreciate an element of surprise.

Rooms and Suites

The rooms and suites at The Jeddah EDITION continue the narrative of understated luxury. Categories range from Deluxe King and Queen rooms to expansive suites, all of which include balconies that blur the line between indoor and outdoor living. Views vary from city and sea to marina-facing and even overlooking the Formula 1 track.
