Contemporary fashion has been cleverly constructed by Alessandro Dell’Acqua for his N°21 Spring/Summer 2015 collection. He has mixed unconventional, untraditional and unexpected altogether to come up with a collection that is somewhat eclectic yet somehow works.
What made the mix of different colours and fabrics work were the fact that he stayed true to classic shapes and silhouettes making the collection ooze that of a romantic skater. The mix of different prints and colours in layers were perfectly put together to give the collection a playful side to it. The collection was masculine enough even with the lace slim pants and shirt ensemble seen on the runway. Dell’Acqua’s muted take on floral prints and his sorbet coloured slim cut suit felt fresh and youthful but our definite favourite and must-have would be the neoprene sweatshirts with the N°21 logo embossed on it.
This is definitely a collection worth checking out if you like your fashion with a fun edge without compromising masculinity.
