MFW: Ports 1961 SS15 Collection

The boy scout has grown up into a fashionable sophisticated man while still reminiscing his time as one. The Ports 1961 Spring/Summer 2015 collection showcased a somewhat polished sense of youthful casualness.

A more relax take on sportswear with parkas and ponchos with hoods as outerwear, the collection felt very easy and casual even with it’s sharp tailoring. The boxy exaggerated silhouettes were perfectly balanced with relaxed tailoring of wide-leg pants with tones of navy, beige, khakis and olive green, which resembled that of a boy scout’s uniform.

Ports 1961 had definitely gone the direction of something more youthful compared to previous seasons with something that is understated and subtly cool.
