Characterising the essentials of the traditional man’s wardrobe, Lou Dalton’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection consists of striped knitwear, Harrington jackets, lightweight blazers, utilitarian shirts and tailored cargo pants. These key pieces convey the brand’s heritage, originating from traditional tailoring and functionality to the dress codes of the “Casuals” and the 1990s rave scene, which have formed a threshold for Lou Dalton every since.
Maintaining their brand ethos, the Spring/Summer 2016 collection is fitted with lightweight and functional tailoring, from the navy blazer in breathable technical cloth, to the feather-light bellow pocket technical pocket, suited with matching cargo pants. Coming at the heart of the collection are the Harrington jackets, made from a variety of cloths, with bellow pockets, which successfully complete every look. Feather-light nylon is also used for hooded parkas and top coats, with the strict cuts giving a masculine toughness to the soft fabric. Finishing the looks are accessories including bucket hats and nylon backpacks suited with internal pockets, in addition to suede boots made in collaboration with GRENSON.
