A-COLD-WALL* introduces its “ZERO HOURS” collection for Fall/Winter 2015.
Originally sprouting the workwear inspired brand through a combination of streetwear and high fashion aesthetics, Samuel Ross’ A-COLD-WALL* is hastily blossoming into a successful and established British-brand, recognised for its sombre colour palettes and haphazard “ACW” prints. After recently unveiling its capsule collection at the venerable British department store, Harvey Nichols, A-COLD-WALL* is back for Fall/Winter 2015 with the “ZERO HOURS” collection inspired by British factories.
Perpetuating its renowned haphazard printing on workwear uniform including utilitarian aprons and substantial ponchos, models stood in front of a monotonous backdrop wearing clothing splattered with oils and blots of paint, adding to the subdued ambience of factory workwear. The contrast of gritty workwear and luxury is further evident in the collections accessories offering, with a soft cashmere scarf being printed with vinyl, a material that is the opposite of soft and luxury; highlighting Ross’ beautifully radical stance on streetwear attire of today.
Select Fall/Winter 2015 cut-and-sew and accessories can be found now via A-COLD-WALL*’s own web store, whilst you anticipate the release of the rest of the “ZERO HOURS” collection.
