Spring/Summer suiting at its finest.
A relative newcomer to the LFWM lineup; South Korean brand, SONGZIO, only opted to forgo their typical Paris spot in favour of showing on British shores in June 2016. Since then, creative director Zio Song has captured our attention with his effortless fusion of smart tailoring components with ethereal, flowing silhouettes and, of course, graphic prints.
For Spring/Summer 2018, tailoring takes the reins with classic suiting components given a contemporary makeover, be that oversized, cropped or with added fringe detailing. While a large bulk of the collection paints a quintessential summertime scene with bright oranges, reds and cool blues; the designer’s penchant for a substantial amount of black shone (or didn’t) through in the latter half of the show. Beetlejuice much?
