So for those who fell in love with seeing the COMME des GARÇONS’ branding adorned on Converse’s renowned Chuck Taylor silhouette you are in for a great surprise.
It looks like there is going to be yet another COMME des GARÇONS PLAY x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star coming our way just in time for the warmer months ahead. Specifically, the upcoming shoes appear to come in both low and high-top iterations with all models sporting the famous CDG PLAY heart logo 6 times along both sides of the upper starting from the heel, each of which, with exception to the first one, rotates 90 degrees to complete a full rotation by time you reach the toe cap. As well as this the shoe sports some familiar detailing such as the black stripes on the rear. As for colourways, we see the new collaborative pair in white and khaki tone.
If all this talk gets you excited for the release then don’t worry as Japanese retailers are expected to receive the sneakers later this month so it shouldn’t be too long until we can get our hands on them.
