A certified "icon"
After a year of achievement after achievement, with his forever blooming success with Off-White and most notably his recent appointment at Louis Vuitton, Virgil Abloh has now been named as one of Time Magazine’s ‘100 Most Influential People’.
His entry was presented by friend and collaborator, acclaimed Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, who boasts of how he witnessed Virgil’s huge progression in such a short amount of time. Murakami praises his friend, stating how “the foundation of his value, or branding, is humanity itself, not a superficial trick.”
Virgil Abloh is featured alongside stars such as “pioneer” Cardi B, “artist” Milly Bobby Brown, and “icons” (the category Abloh is placed in) Rihanna and Kesha.
