The Return of The Nike Air Presto Foot Tent

By June 28, 2018Fashion News

Originally released in 2002.

Paris Fashion Week 2018 saw the chunky sneaker trend still going strong as ever, proved by CDG by bringing back the Nike Air Presto Foot Tent to the runway. Given a strong modernised revamp, the shoe looks to have been drastically upgraded since the original Foot Tent sneaker first released in 2002. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, also the creator of the successful Air Max 1 and Air Huarache, The Foot Tent didn’t do as well as intended and was named as one of Hatfield’s biggest flops.

Some may of seen it as being way ahead of it’s time, but as the chunky/ugly sneaker trend is in it’s prime,  it’s no surprise why CDG and Nike have decided to bring it back.

Take a look below to see the revamped Foot Tent and the original 2002 version.

Love em love em love em!

I have a pair of the original 2002 releases for sale on eBay now. Not sure if I should remove the listing and rock them again with them making a comeback.

It’s so uplifting to see these fantastic trainers making a comeback.
