A thought-provoking sneaker.
Continuing their long relationship, Comme Des Garcons has teamed up with iconic footwear brand Vans for its own twist on their classic Vans Authentic silhouette.
The sneaker, which arrives in black, features uplifting messages scribbled across such as “my energy comes from freedom”, a statement that has been used repeatedly throughout various CDG collections. The motif, along with others, is found across the shoe, printed in white using a mixture of fonts.
To accompany the new sneaker a range of wallets from the Japanese label will drop simultaneously, all of which are covered with the same inspirational quotes.
Both the wallets and sneakers, which are pictured below, are available now at Dover Street Market London, however, the Vans are only available in store.
