To combat the spread of COVID-19.
Prada is latest fashion company to lend a hand to combat the spread of the coronavirus, as the Italian luxury house announced that it had donated a range of medical equipment to some of Milan’s most prominent hospitals.
A move that follows announcements by Bernard Arnault’s that the LVMH conglomerate will be manufacturing hydroalcoholic gel to supply the French healthcare authorities, Prada has announced that it has donated two complete intensive care units and resuscitation units to three of Milan’s largest hospitals, in an effort to aid healthcare authorities in one of Europe’s worst-hit regions.
Also helping to the coronavirus outbreak, Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani has donated €1.25 million to four different hospitals in Italy. Stay tuned for more information as it comes.
