Giving a behind-the-scenes insight into the creative process behind the clothing, AMIRI takes us into its Downtown LA studio in a short film presented on the Paris Fashion Week website.
Titled “Welcome Home”, it gives a look into the world of founder and creative director Mike Amiri along with friends of the brand. Mike discusses his journey to becoming a mainstay in the luxury fashion sphere whilst also presenting glimpse’s of the upcoming SS’21 collection through his sketches and mood boards. Figures that are shown as inspiration for the forthcoming collection include Jack Nicholson, Jerry Buss, Stacy Peralta, Slash, John McEnroe and Bjorn Borg.
