Rick Owens DRKSHDW X Converse Turbodrk Chuck 70
First seen on the runway during Rick Owens’ Autumn/Winter 2021 show, the American designer’s collaboration with Converse has hit the shelves. The signature Chuck 70 has been given the Rick Owens treatment via a dramatic square toe, exaggerated tongue and textured panels on the midsole which distort the instantly recognisable shape of a Converse Chuck 70.
Nike Air Tuned Max
As if the Nike Air Tuned Max didn’t look 90s enough, it has now been given a silver colourway. With a strong air of retro-futurism, this latest release includes a transparent Air-tech unit on the heel and black mesh underlays.
Patta X Vans Old Skool
Patta and Vans have joined forces for a third time to produce a “Mean Eyed Cats” collection. Comprising of seven different colourways and two models, this pair features an almond toned upper with white Patta branding covering the side of the sneaker.
Jil Sander low-top canvas sneakers
True to its minimalist aesthetic, Jil Sander’s experimentation with sneakers does not include brash logos or gimmicks but focuses on simplicity and shape. These cotton canvas shoes feature an exaggerated midsole in black which merges rugged and smooth textures and spills onto the upper of the shoe.
Asics Ub2-s-gel-1130 Kiko
Kiko Kostadinov is one again updating Asics range of sneakers. This time, the release pays homage to the GEL-1000™ series and brings with it a late-2000s look. The shoe comes in three colourways, with this one, which is dubbed “Deep Mars/Graphite Grey,” mixing deep burgundy hues with glossy grey panels.
