Featuring a selection of New Balance sneakers.
Marking its third successive year, New Balance’s Grey Day has returned for 2022 as they celebrate their heritage by spotlighting three local community leaders across Liverpool, Manchester and London, who are figures that empower people through sports and craftsmanship.
Featured in this year’s line-up includes New Balance ambassador and rising Liverpool FC star Harvey Elliott, alongside his younger brother Harrison, musician siblings Roosevelt, aka [ K S R ] and his sister Roselle Sigsbert and sisters, as well as DJs and workout leaders Zoe and Crissi Vassilakis aka Madam X. Looking to capture the ethos of New Balance, these figures have been hand-selected because of their plethora of passions, perspectives and disciplines that “span beyond their recognised occupations, with family values being at the core.”
The celebration of New Balance’s Grey Day also sees the release of three signature New Balance models; the XC-72, 57/40 and 327. These particular models meet the ‘green leaf’ standard set by New Balance, meaning that they feature an upper made of 50% or more recycled content, leather that supports more responsible manufacturing, and at least one midsole/outsole material that contains a minimum of 3% bio-based or 5% recycled content. All variations of the New Balance Grey Day 2022 arrive in variations of grey colourways, staying firmly on theme.
The New Balance Grey Day 2022 celebrations begin on May 21st, with the new variations of the XC-72, 57/40 and 327 silhouettes also set to release on the same day.
