High-flying Givenchy has joined forces with Disney yet again as the pair unveil their second collaborative effort together, this time taking on the latter’s hit ‘101 Dalmatians’ franchise.
Having previously worked together on a monochromatic Disney icons capsule, this release expands upon the simplistic cut-out graphic designs of the first drop, taking on Disney’s ‘101 Dalmatians’ in a more colourful way. Whilst still utilising traditional silhouettes and graphic designs, this take on the animated 1961 Disney classic sees retro graphic stylings dominate the range, working tastefully to strike a balance between the vintage aesthetic of ‘101 Dalmatians’ and the cutting-edge design ethos of Givenchy.
This special-edition unisex range sees ready-to-wear shoes, t-shirts, hoodies, sweatpants, bags, jewellery, and small leather accessories on offer, with each piece coming with direct nods to the film. The graphic stylings that spread across the range include a red Givenchy logo overloaded with Dalmatians, Perdita and Pongo donning a G-Lock collar on the front and centre of tees and jackets, as well as infamous villain Cruella De Vil being depicted walking by the windows of the Givenchy headquarters in Paris.
