Taking it back to their roots in Japanese wear and tradition, HUMAN MADE has released their previously revealed “Ningen-sei”, or “Human Made” capsule for the Summer 2022 season.

The collection bases itself on iconic Japanese silhouettes and goods, with Human Made’s infinitely playful design style being implemented across the release. The Japanese brand continues its customary use of animals, and in this case, the infamous duck motif gets its time in the spotlight as it adorns the standout Happi Coat, which is a piece inspired by a traditional Japanese overcoat that is typically worn during festival seasons.

It arrives with a graphic duck motif on the back and Human Made branding with Japanese writing adorning the front. The released imagery also shows some alternately branded t-shirts and overshirts, a tiger print shirt and shorts co-ord, as well as a pair of flip-flops and two bucket hats. Lastly, the range also includes a selection of Human Made branded traditional Japanese trinkets, ranging from chopsticks and a bamboo fan to sake cups and animal-themed wind chimes.

The Human Made “Ningen-sei” capsule is available to shop now via HBX.
