Releasing Today.
Heritage British luxury and lifestyle brand Barbour have tapped Tokyo-born outfit and wander for a new outdoor-ready capsule collection.
Looking to bridge the gap between the great outdoors and urban environments, the Barbour x and wander capsule collection merges the two ethos’ of the brands together, providing fashion fans with a selection of winter-ready utilitarian staples. Bringing in a host of tasteful earth tones for this range, a balanced selection of garments are set to be up for grabs in this capsule collection, with the range of pieces including jackets, trousers, shirts, hats and bags, with standout shades of yellow and khaki sitting alongside more muted tones of black and olive brown.
Looking more closely at the range, some standouts from the collection include the Barbour x and wander ‘3L’ jacket, which takes inspiration from Barbour’s classic Bedale jacket design that was born back in 1980, with this piece debuting in black and boasting a detachable hood, reflective detailing, as well as a rain-ready three-layer construction. Additionally, the yellow ‘Pivot’ jacket puts forward a more casual everyday piece, donning Barbour’s signature name branding as well as and wander’s attention to detail, with reflective stitching, a fast-drying outer-face, and a retractable windstorm bib adding the latter’s typical utilitarian touch. Lastly, a khaki iteration of the Barbour x and wander shoulder bag makes utility even more of a priority, providing a host of button-clasp pockets and co-branded detailing.
Speaking about the collection, Director of Menswear at Barbour, Ian Bergin, stated the following:
“It’s been a delight to be able to collaborate with the team at and wander. We have been working together for a few seasons for the Japanese market, the fusion of attention to detail, sense of fun and drive for performance, and quality in and wander products sits very well with the pragmatic approach Barbour has as a brand. Products you can depend on from two trusted brands.”
The Barbour x and wander collection is set to release today, November 14th, via the Barbour website.
